Xtream Codes explained: server URL, username and password
Xtream Codes is the login format most IPTV apps use: three values, a server URL, a username and a password, that connect a player to your channels. Every weweb IPTV subscription is delivered with these three values and with an M3U link, so you can use almost any app. This page of our IPTV setup guide explains what each value means, how it differs from M3U and where to type it.

What are Xtream Codes?
Xtream Codes started as the name of a server software and became the everyday name of the login it introduced, also called the "Xtream Codes API". Instead of downloading one long file, the app asks the server directly, with your username and password, for the list of live channels, films, series and the TV guide. That is why apps using this login show tidy menus for Live TV, Movies and Series.
When a guide or an app says "Xtream IPTV", "Xtream login" or "Xtream API", it means the same three values.
The three values of an Xtream IPTV login
Username
Your line's identifier. It can mix letters and numbers, and capitals count: "Weweb24" and "weweb24" are two different usernames.
Password
The password of your line. Do not share it outside your home: each line plays one stream at a time.
Some apps also ask for a name or playlist name: that is a free label for you, not a value from the server.
Xtream Codes and an M3U link: the difference
An M3U link is a single web address that contains your username and password inside it and returns the whole playlist as one file. Xtream Codes gives the same information split into three fields. Both open the same line and the same channels; they are two doors to one room.

Where to type your Xtream Codes in each app
- IPTV Smarters Pro: start screen → Login with Xtream Codes API → name, username, password, URL. Details on IPTV Smarters Pro.
- IBO Player Pro: on the developer's website, after entering the TV's MAC address and device key → Add playlist → Xtream option. Details on IBO Player Pro.
- Flix IPTV and Duplex IPTV: on the developer's playlist page, choose the Xtream form if offered, otherwise use the M3U link. See Flix IPTV.

Type your details without mistakes

Open our WhatsApp message on your phone and keep it next to the TV.

In the app, choose the Xtream, "Xtream Codes API" or "Login" option, not the playlist or file option.

Type the server URL with http:// at the start and the port at the end. Do not add "/get.php" or anything after the port.

Type the username and the password exactly, respecting capitals. If the app shows the password, check it before you confirm.

Confirm and wait while the app loads the categories; then play a channel to test.
Most failed logins come from three things: https:// typed instead of http://, a missing port, or a space copied at the end of the password.
What is an IPTV code or an IPTV activation code?
"IPTV code" is used loosely online. Most of the time people mean their Xtream Codes details or their M3U link: the access they receive after buying. Sometimes it means something else: certain Android boxes and apps work with a single numeric activation code that only exists in that one system and does not open other apps.

Do not confuse this with the activation of a MAC-address app such as IBO Player Pro or Smart IPTV. That activation is paid to the app developer for the player itself and has nothing to do with your access details.
Keep your line private, and the screen limit
Your username and password are your line, and Xtream Codes are included in every plan. Every plan plays one stream at a time: Standard and Premium are installed on one device, VIP on one or two; if the details are shared, another device connecting will cut someone off. If you think your details have leaked, ask support for new ones.
