Set up on Samsung / LG TV

Which app runs on which device
The IPTV app is only the player: the channels come from your subscription. Some apps are free, others charge their own small activation fee, paid to the app and not to us. Store listings change, so check the store of your device too.

Choosing an IPTV player
The best IPTV player is the one your device runs well. On a Samsung or LG smart TV you cannot install Android apps, so the choice is between the TV apps: IBO Player Pro, SET IPTV, Smart IPTV, Net IPTV and Flix IPTV. They are activated with the MAC address of the TV, and most charge a one-time fee after a short trial.
On Android boxes and the Firestick you have more freedom. TiviMate has the clearest programme guide and recordings with its paid unlock; IPTV Smarters Pro is free, simple and also exists on iPhone, Apple TV and computers. If you watch on several devices, using the same app everywhere makes the menus easier for the whole family.

Two ways to log in: server details or a playlist link
Your access message holds two formats. The first is a set of Xtream Codes details: a server URL, a username and a password. Apps such as IPTV Smarters Pro and TiviMate ask for these three fields, and they load live TV, movies, series and the EPG in one go.
The second is an M3U playlist link, one long address that contains the same details. TV apps that are activated by MAC address (SET IPTV, Smart IPTV, Net IPTV) usually ask you to paste it on their website. If an app offers both, choose Xtream Codes: it updates the channel list by itself and separates live TV from video on demand.
The IPTV box question: do you need an Android box?
You do not need a box if your TV is a recent Samsung, LG or Android TV: the app installs on the TV itself. A box helps when the TV is older, when it has no app store, or when the TV app feels slow. In Moroccan shops and on Derb Ghallef stalls you will see many Android boxes; prefer one with a recent Android TV version, Google Play, 2 GB of memory or more and a network port.
An Amazon Firestick is the cheapest way to make any TV with an HDMI port work, including in a riad or a holiday rental. Roku sticks are a different case: Roku has no native app that accepts our Xtream Codes or M3U link, so we suggest a Firestick or an Android box instead.

First-time setup checklist
Before you call it done, run through this list. It solves most first-day questions:
- Your access message is open on your phone: server URL, username, password and the M3U link.
- The TV or box is on the latest system update, and the date and time are set automatically.
- The app is installed from the official store of the device, not from an unknown file.
- You copied the details exactly: no space at the end, the server URL starts with http.
- The router is close, or the device uses a cable. A 5 GHz Wi-Fi is steadier than 2.4 GHz.
- You opened a Moroccan channel, a sports channel and a film to check live TV and VOD.
Your line matters as much as the app: a fibre connection handles 4K easily, while ADSL and 4G are fine for HD. The internet speed for IPTV page gives the speed per picture quality on Maroc Telecom, inwi and Orange.
When the picture freezes or the login fails
Three problems cover most calls. A login error usually means a typing mistake in the server URL or the password; copy and paste the details again. A black screen on one channel often comes from that channel's source, so try another channel before changing anything. Freezing in the evening, between 20:00 and 23:00, points to the home Wi-Fi or the line.
