How to watch Botola Pro abroad, from the UK to Canada

TV showing a live Botola Pro match on IPTV, watched from abroad

Watch Botola Pro abroad: which channel carries the matches, kick-off times in the UK, Europe and North America, home internet and paying from abroad.

Living in London, Brussels or Toronto does not mean giving up on Raja, Wydad or AS FAR. If you want to watch Botola Pro abroad, you need three things: the channel that broadcasts the matches, a connection that holds during ninety minutes of live football, and the kick-off time converted to your clock. For the full list of match days and channels, see Botola Pro live: match days and channels.

This article focuses on what changes when you follow the Moroccan league from another country. If you are new to watching Moroccan channels abroad in general, start with our page on IPTV for Moroccans abroad in the UK, USA and Canada.

What you need to follow Botola Pro from abroad

Satellite dishes are not always allowed in rented flats abroad, and the right satellite position is not visible from every country. Internet television removes both problems: if your home has a decent broadband connection, you can watch the Moroccan channels on a smart TV, a Fire TV Stick, an Android box, a phone or a computer.

    • A subscription that includes the Moroccan channels, Arryadia in particular.
    • A player app on your TV or streaming device, set up with your access.
    • A stable home connection, ideally with the TV on a cable or close to the router.
    • The kick-off time in your own time zone.

    Which channel carries the matches

Arryadia, the sports channel of the Moroccan national broadcaster SNRT, is the main home of Botola Pro. It shows league matches through the season, along with studio programmes, highlights and other Moroccan sport. Our page Arryadia live in HD explains what the channel shows and how it looks on IPTV.

The match schedule is published by the league and can change during the season, especially when clubs play in African competitions or when the Atlas Lions have international matches. Check the programme guide in your app on the day: it shows which match is on and when.

    Following your club between matches

A league season is more than ninety minutes a week. Arryadia also broadcasts studio programmes, match analysis and highlights, so you can catch up on a round you could not watch live. For the big fixtures, such as the Casablanca derby between Raja and Wydad, or matches involving AS FAR, RS Berkane and FUS Rabat, the build-up often starts well before kick-off.

If you follow one club closely, add Arryadia and the national channels to your favourites, so you can jump from the match to the post-match discussion without searching through the full list.

Converting kick-off times to your country

Botola kick-offs are announced in Moroccan time. Morocco uses GMT+1 for most of the year and GMT during Ramadan, so the gap with your country is not always the same.

    • United Kingdom and Ireland: same time as Morocco when British Summer Time is in force; Morocco is one hour ahead in winter.
    • France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Germany: same time as Morocco in winter; one hour ahead of Morocco in European summer time.
    • New York, Montreal, Toronto: usually five or six hours behind Morocco, depending on the season. An evening match in Casablanca is an early-afternoon match on the US East Coast.
    • During Ramadan: Morocco moves back to GMT, so every gap above shifts by one hour for the month.

The simplest method: set the programme guide of your player app to your local time zone, then add a reminder on your phone for the matches of your club.

Internet at home: what match nights demand

Live football is the most demanding thing you can watch. Movement is constant, everyone watches at the same moment, and a frozen picture during a penalty is not the same as a pause during a film. A stable broadband line matters more than a very high headline speed.

    • Connect the TV or box with an Ethernet cable when you can, or place it close to the router.
    • Avoid big downloads or game updates on other devices during the match.
    • If the picture hesitates, try the HD version of the channel rather than the highest quality.
    • Restart the app and the router before a big derby, not during it.

The speeds we recommend, and how to measure yours, are on the page internet speed for IPTV. If you still see freezes, our IPTV troubleshooting guide goes through the usual fixes.

Paying from the UK, Europe or North America

Moroccans abroad buy the same plans as viewers in Morocco, priced in dirhams: Standard 300 DH, Premium 450 DH and VIP 600 DH for 12 months. You can pay by bank card, Taptap Send, Western Union or bank transfer; your payment service handles the conversion from pounds, euros or dollars. Each option is explained on the page payment methods from abroad.

Your access is sent on WhatsApp within 1 hour, 24 h at most, wherever you live. That leaves plenty of time to set everything up before the weekend's matches.

Watching with family in two rooms

Match nights are not always everyone's choice. If one person watches the Botola while another follows a series or a different league, remember that every plan plays one stream at a time, so two programmes at the same moment need two subscriptions. VIP includes the full sports packs, like Premium, with 4K where the channel broadcasts in 4K, plus a bigger catalogue and installation on 1 or 2 devices, one at a time, handy for a living-room TV and a bedroom TV used at different times.

    1. Check the kick-off time in your time zone in the programme guide.
    2. Open the app half an hour before the match and launch the channel once.
    3. Plug the TV or box into the router, or move it closer to the Wi-Fi.
    4. Pause other heavy uses of the connection at home.
    5. Keep the WhatsApp support number at hand in case your login has a problem.

Beyond the league: national team and cups

Following Moroccan football from abroad does not stop with the Botola. The Atlas Lions' matches, the Africa Cup of Nations and the build-up to the 2030 World Cup co-hosted by Morocco all bring the community together. Our pages on AFCON live and sports IPTV cover the other competitions and channels.

If you want to check the picture on your own connection before a big match, ask for a free 24-hour test line on WhatsApp. When you are ready, compare the plans on the IPTV subscription page or start from the IPTV Morocco home page.
